So, I got a vasectomy today and frankly, my balls hurt. Kinda to be expected I know, but still... Ouch, mother-chuffer! To make matters worse, when I told the Doc I was in IT, he started talking to me about the computer he wanted to buy, DURING the procedure (to be hereforeafter referenced as medieval_torture).

So as the medieval_torture continued merrily along, I stared at the ceiling, ignoring the needle pricks of "anesthetic" (to be hereforeafter referenced as "placebo") immediately before seeing a puff of smoke reaching for the glare of the lamp over my groin. Trying not to imagine my faithful pals hanging loose, disconnected forever from the vas deferens they had always known and loved, I told the Doc he could never go wrong with more memory. Cuz I'm good like that...

When I had the big V, the doc spent the whole time flirting with the two nurses and talking about his golf game. He spent so much time working without even looking at what he was doing, that I felt like telling him to focus on MY little white balls for a change!

Actually represented a guy who brought a malpractice suit against his doctor, but I have a feeling IAB doesn't have the balls to hear this story now.

Although I feel empathy with a fellow sterile 'mate', us Brits must be made of sterner stuff. I never felt a thing.

Good old NHS, free at the point of delivery.
