I copied the message, pasted it into MS Word, and replaced all instances of each word, one at a time, with a blank space to remove the redundancy. I found no hidden meaning and no words apart from are, we, done, and yet, in the main body. The instances of each were identical, leading me to believe that there was no hidden message. Additonally, quickly scrolling the message reveals a consistent visual pattern of the text, also suggesting a lack of a hidden message by virtue of uniform text placement.
However, rather than continue working on the nearly completed (nine game) site, I intend to devote all of my energies to solving the mystery of the hidden message. The money I had set aside for programming the site will now be diverted to hiring code breakers to assist in this new project, dubbed "Operation there's A Monkey on my back". Wish me luck.

I haven't been reading this thread, but a quick question.
Estimation of time peace. I appreciate it and all and I dont wanna sound rude, but I am getting bored being unenlisted on gc.
I will unfourtuneatley never win a tournament...

i sense that each day that passes by our alternative game site gets closer to completion :) peace will serve no game before it's time ;)

Peace, Drahlek -
Please come to our rescue! GC is totally falling apart. With each passing day, the periods of slow game speed become more frequent, and the appearance of bugs more common.
I know we are all anxious, but let's lay off the guys and let them finish the sites they are creating for US. The added pressure can't help things... :-)

IAB answers correctly. We would have also accepted Queen Classic vol. 1, "I'm Going Slightly Mad".
To Dragon, Webgems, Trib, a monkey, joesmith, nero, cugel, and all other interested parties who've recently inquired and/or are monitoring the developments, I appreciate your continued interest in the pursuit of a GC alt. My apology for waiting two weeks to respond to Dragon's first request.
As stated in May, I am developing more, much more, than a Risk-like game. It has become a much bigger project than first planned, mostly because I more than doubled the planned features since the beginning of May. I promise that I have ceased efforts to dream up and include even more stuff and am now concentrating solely on building all that I have sketched out for the site. As I want to get it right for you folks on its first time out, rather than suffer for major calls for sweeping modifications to the site and the games, I am meticulously working on the final stages of the project. Definitive completion dates are always elusive given the great amount of detail involved in this project, but I will guestimate a Summer 2005 arrival all the same. What that means is when the site goes online, it will be ALL of the features at once, not just a piece at a time. You will have access to my Risk-like game with just about every popular feature requested of Bryan for the last three years, in addition to access to eight additional equally cool or better games. As a small hint of what's to come, Global Combat offers 2,352 possible unique game settings, not including map types (2) or participation options. My Risk-like game offer more than 183 billion (not a typo) unique game settings with future plans upping that to nearly 600 billion combinations. That much to explore should keep you all entertained for a while. And then there are the other eight games if you have any time left over. ;)
I have periodically shared some of the details of the games and site features with a few of our community members and I believe the feedback has been all positive. I have extended an invitation to one community member to take an in-person look, if it should be convenient for him, to allow for further feedback. It's all coming together and I am at least as excited as you folks to have a good GC alternative, but even more excited about all the other things I hope I can bring to you soon. So thank you again for your patience. I will provide updates as I can. For now I'll leave you with this tag line previewed by a few of our good folks.
Tired of the same old thing? For less than the value of one zenny you can enjoy enough game scenarios to last your lifetime, but only at sgamers.net. Coming soon!

Well I have to be honest, I was making great progress with the core engine and then summer came, my son just turned 1 and took his first steps!!!! been busy selling an extra car and my boat, am in the middle of changing jobs or I should say trying my damndest to change jobs.
Net result is I have not had an ounce of time to work on the game for a couple months. I absolutely still plan on doing it, it is just going to be slow going. I fully expect Peace will get his site out first.

I wish you good luck in all your tasks. (Especially the game site. I think it would be nice with 2 sites to choose from)

That's great Drahlek. My advice, screw the site for right now, focus on what's important. My little guy is almost 2 and I try as hard as I can just to soak up our time together and stick it in a mental box, so I can open it when he's a teen and remind myself why I love him so much... :-)
While I am as anxious as anyone to have both of you turkeys done (wasn't there a 3rd developer in the mix?), the site will be there to be finished tomorrow. I, for one, am glad to see you have your priorities straight. Kudos...
