i agree cugel..... way back when stamar had his riegn going .. i tried to point out that the ratings were overrated.....( not your playing stamar, you still the best) in a 1 vs 1 game.. the odds of winning are 50/50
in 6 player its whatever 6 into a hundred is..... a 1 in 6 chance of winning.....

Fantastic. This is a huge improvement over both the current GC rating system and my rather simple proposal. Peace, I should have known that you'd already put a lot of thought into this.
I can't think of any criticisms or suggestions for the method you've proposed.
Do you have a revised target date for the "launch"?

I will be holding a study group to help all of us understand Peace's new rating system, since I never got that Ph.D in statistics.
I figure while we're trying to digest the analytical math of his response to cugel, we can also make him some chicken noodle soup to send out to Pentagon City to get hime healthy enough to sit back in front of that computer of his. ;)
