Guys, Peacemaker has given me the opportunity to check out V2 of Strategy Gamers, and believe me when I say, when this thing is ready to be rolled out, we are all in for a treat...

Peace has seemingly taken many of the most frequently made suggestions at the other site, and put the most feasible of them in place.. We are going to have majorly customizable games and these arguments about "who's better, who's best" will be nonexistent due to a quite comprehensive scoring system...

And my favorite thing, is that a sense of history will be preserved over the course of the site... Tournament winners, a hall of fame, prizes... This is gonna be good...

Comparisons to GC will be nonexistent...

oddly, i'm really starting tire of gc. i've often logged ini here to see what's going on and never logging into gc to make my moves. i've never been like that.

Also seen a sneak preview of the current state of SGamers, and I haven't even been able to scratch the surface of everything that's available. I think there's going to be a little bit of the old "kid in a candy store" affect on all of us once this bastard gets up and running. I just started randomly clicking on links and kept getting more and more excited. Props to Peace for sticking with this in spite of all the drama (cromma?) he's had to deal with. About the only blessing he's had is that the "new" team is aware of all of the fuck ups the old team made, so hopefully they have a real sense of urgency about getting 'er done (sorry, I AM a NC resident now).

I think my favorite new addition is the ability to set up a random map feature, so that no one comes in with a set knowledge of how to play the map. Gives even newbs/feebs a chance to win. Unless they're up against that soul-selling demon-fucker Lopes. How do you expect to win against Paganini/Faust reborn?

When is this site up and running the peacemaker.... GC isn't as fun any more since the prospect of the "new and improved" site was released. so come and quit holding out on us :D
