I'll guess that number is the exact number of Zenny's you expect to spend producing your site.

It is the number of different game types that is possible to setup in the game.

that's not it but it's a good guess all the same and in fact I have calculated the number of possible game setting variations. It is in the billions.

OOOh, now I understand why it's taking you so long to make the site, you're counting variations in the game settings, that's 1, 2, yep that's 3, I think that's number 4, 5, 6 no no I already counted that one, Oh well back again 1, 2.... :D

it's April! any news Peace?
Peacemaker- 04-09-2007
I hate to be the bearer of bad news, fortunately, all I have is good news. :)
I am presently working with a reliable developer and great progress is being made. The primary administrative/membership portions of the site, which are sizeable, are nearing completion. The complex multi-level membership structure has passed Beta along with the corresponding payment systems to be used. FYI, having multiple levels of membership (subscribe to one game, two games, etc.,) was incorporated in part due to suggestions from you folks.
Despite delays, and a strong desire to open for business, I have sacrificed none of the vast number of great features and have even added more. While I cannot offer a ballpark eta, I can say that I'm very encouraged at the progress.
Thanks to everyone for keeping the faith. I'll keep you posted.

Hoo-ray!

Good things come to those who wait. I am glad Peace is striving for perfection (or as close as humans can achieve) instead of following Mr. Gates approach of knowingly releasing an imperfect product, then releasing "patches" that should have been incorporated in the product well before release.

No doubt. Is it just me or is Vista damn near unusable?

No doubt. Is it just me or is Vista damn near unusable? maybe both, but at least vista :)
seaellem- 04-10-2007
i've been using it at work for a few months. there is a learning curve involved for sure.
just read an article last week "Death, Taxes, and Vista" that pretty much says it right there.
i think it's a lot like "new coke". they just whoopsed on their market research.
Imalwaysblack- 04-10-2007
Heh, love the "New Coke" metaphor! Vista will be on my machines when Moses comes down and says it's a new commandment. Until then XP seem to work just fine (comparatively).
