can i get an update on how the website is comming along my membership with gc is almost over

I'm very excited about how well things are going in development. A little slower than I had hoped, but truthfully, my time frame is overly ambitious and if I am anything it is thorough. I hope that within a few more weeks I can hold a sort of press conference on the IRC and or in here to reveal a bunch of details about the site. For now I'll reveal that the design of the site is quite different than that of GC. First, there will be four game brands on the site with as many as ten sub sets of these games altogether, one of which will have a sort of clan element involved - more of a built-in alliance system. Each brand of game I have created has its own section, such that I could break each off completely if need be in the future. But a single login will give access to all game areas. You will find the Risk-like/GC-like game of course and games that operate along the same lines. All games are 2D map type strategy games. I do not intend to make this a 3D game site as that is a whole different market. Some games will be points based and others will use a modified version of my percentage based scoring system. All of these elements are designed to maximize enjoyment and minimize opportunities for "cheating" and working the numbers to gain rank. That's important because, given enough membership, I intend to give prizes on a regular basis, even if it is only in membership credits. I have integrated at least sixteen totally new game options over what GC has including a large portion taken from community forums (which Bryan ignored) during my nearly three years at GC. I have also integrated some of the unofficial things the community used to do, making them a full part of the site experience. Until you see a post from me stating otherwise, know that this is my full time pursuit now. Time to get back at it. More coming soon!

Please feel free to comment as I would prefer that the community decide the array of workable colors, especially those members with color deficiencies. I believe I will be adding an off white color as well and maybe black too. Thanks a bunch.

Just make sure that there is a possibility to make larger games. I enjoy the games that are 16-24 players. Although they go quiet slow, I think it would be a nice option. But Cant wait till it is finished. We should almost have a clan for everyone here, and you have to had been in here by such a certain date like now or something.

Everything sounds amazing just as I suspected. I can't wait to see the finished product. Also, just FYI, on your different color schemes. In my opinion, the easiest on my eyes were the 10 colors that were on the tan, or beige background. 2nd choice was the white background.

LMAO - I put the different backgrounds up just to give you folks different ways of looking at the same images. (still laughing) It's the color icons I'm truly interested in hearing about. (can't stop laughing) The good news however is that the tan background is the one I am using for the Risk-like game. The others are only potential page background colors for some of the subgames.
