i have tried starting a game...i wanted to invite but i am not sure how ''find a player' works
it asks for a name to find.. but what if you dont know the player's handle .. is there a list

I'm not sure how you would know that a particular player exists without having encountered them, and thus their name. It seems to me that if there is someone you know of to invite, then you would know their handle. For example, if I wished to invite you to the game, I would already be armed with your name, "st.theone". If I knew that you had joined the site but didn't have your handle, then I simply would not be able to contact you until I learned your name.
Find a Player works by entering any character(s) and clicking the search button. The results show all matches, beginning with that character, that are found in that game brand in addition to Member names. For example, if you use Steve as your Member name and SteveHex as your Hex brand player name, and SteveSpace for your space game handle, then using Find a Player from within the space game zone would not produce SteveHex in the search results. You can then click on any player name and be taken to that Member's Gaming Profile page. On that page you can view all the player names that a Member uses for the entire site. Additionally, there is a button at the top of that page for sending a PM, which uses the forum software to send and manage messages.
At this time, however, the forum software is out of sync with the main site and there are some issues, including premature timeouts/logoffs.

Okay folks, if anyone cares to have another go, creating games to check speed of the gameboard interface, feel free to and please report your findings along with your browser type and version.
You can use whatever game creation options you like, just note that most do not affect the game board functions. The Duel Competition option is not active at this time. Most of the Participation options do not apply as no one has completed games.
Thank you.

Much better. Still sometimes possible to 'confuse' it if you click too quick. Have to make sure you wait a couple of seconds for it to complete.

so I haven't really been keeping up with news about this new site? Is it almost up and running?
Peacemaker- 10-05-2008
Hi there hi_there,
Thanks for checking in. Major progress has been made on the site. As I stated in August, I won't offer an ETA for the first game's debut because I've been down this road before with previous developers. The Trick is to maintain the existing development pace and hopefully we'll be in for a Treat sometime soon.
wow, i started an open game as well if anyone wants to join it

I received an anonymous message via my Contact form at sgamers. So yes, the Contact form works. I am not however going to create the requested forum topic ("YES I GOT THIS MESSAGE") under the Chat section because anything having to do with my game site belongs here, or even better, in the forum that comes with my game site. When logged in to sgamers, click the Community link from any page to go to the forums. Or you can go directly to the forum.
Thank you
