"Baby, you'd dig it the most." So I got volunteered for some training at work a few weeks back (SAN/Metrocluster/NDMP backup performance), and subsequently found out that said training was going to be held not in our local RTP-NC office, nor in our California HQ office, but in our brand-spanking new regional office in Amsterdam. That's right kiddies, I'm flying out to Amsterdam on the company dime.
Been scrambling to get a certified copy of my birth certificate, my passport expedited (normally takes 6 weeks - If you ain't got one; Get it now.) and take care of all the associated hassles of international travel, but now I am done. Finishing typing this and heading for the airport. 11:30am tomorrow, I'll be posting inanities from a whole 'nother continent! Assuming I'm capable of working the keyboard, which is not assured.
Two days of debauchery before I have to actually learn something. Hope I can cram it all in...
